साज means adornment — the finishing that turns a length of cloth into something worth wearing. We keep the shop small on purpose, so every piece leaves with someone's hands on it.
Walk in for a metre of cotton or a wedding wardrobe — the same pair of eyes checks the fall of it before it leaves.

From ₹28,000
Lehenga, sharara or a saree set with a blouse cut to your measure. Hand embroidery, zari and the long fittings a wedding outfit deserves.
By the metre
Silk, chanderi, georgette, cotton, tissue and linen — sold by the metre, with an honest opinion about what will work for the occasion and what will not.
From ₹900
Blouses, kurtas, suits, palazzos and school-run everyday wear. Quick turnaround without the shortcuts that show after one wash.
A rotating shelf of about two hundred bolts. These are the ones people keep coming back for — ask for a swatch and take it home to the light you'll actually wear it in.

Prices are per metre and move with the market — call the shop for today's rate.
No mystery, no vanishing deadlines. This is exactly what happens between walking in and walking out with it.
Step 1
Fifteen minutes with a cup of chai. What's the occasion, what do you already own, what have you never been able to find done properly.
Step 2
We pull bolts off the shelf and let you see how each one falls. Colour lies under shop lights, so we walk to the door and check it in daylight.
Step 3
Taken carefully and written on your own card, so the next visit starts where this one finished.
Step 4
A fitting before the finishing. This is where a good garment separates from an almost-good one — nothing is closed up until it sits right.
Step 5
Pressed, bagged and checked one last time. Free alteration for thirty days, because plans and occasions change.
The fit was right in a way nothing off the rack has ever been. She pinned it three times and would not let it go out until she was happy with it.
Took my mother's old saree and built a whole lehenga around it. Everyone at the wedding asked where it was from.
Honest about what would work, which is rare. Talked me out of a fabric I loved and was completely right.
Walk-ins are welcome for fabric. For stitching and bridal, a quick call first means we can give you the table and the time you need.
